March 6, 2013 - Pretty wine, showing lots of cabernet and syrah character albeit fairly ripe. Initially a tad closed so perhaps leave this one to rest a couple of years (the 2008 is drinking well now) . Fruit profile is solidly in the blueberry and liquorice spectrum with the cabernet kicking in loads of graphite. Mouthfeel is lush ripe and a touch sweet, and I slightly prefer the firmness of past vintages. Has the typical Mas Des Bressades funk that I love which will develop with more time in bottle.

January 2, 2012 - a dull purple. aroma: tobacco, green pepper, cabernet, mineral, fresh, leafy, orange peal. palate: nice, good fruit, very dry, not too big, medium weight, good acid, long, slightly rustic. lots of character here.
