May 5, 2014 - Day before holiday "DBH" lunch with JL, TH and Ms Han (Cipriani, Hong Kong): Fulsome, densely red and delightfully forward, I would have had trouble placing it as a 2004 burg (many of which, even the delicious ones made by DRC, are light pink). Plush strawberry and cranberry on the palate, with nice mineral complexity, substantive weight and good grippy finish, I think this wine is perfect for drinking over the 2-3 years. Very nice and great job Monsieur Ponsot

September 4, 2012 - dark red, slight brick hue at edge. Nose is red and blue pinot fruit. With the hint of sauvage this nose and flavour palate is more Santa Barbara Coast than Burgundy. This has substantial body but is juicy and lively and an excellent 2004. No hurry at all.
