  March 9, 2021 - Decanted 2+ hours. Dark, opaque garnet. Aroma of dark cherries, rose petals, some green stem, and a touch of oak. Tastes of concentrated fresh black cherry juice with a touch of green stem and vanillin. Has good acidity balanced by lightly grippy tannins and moderate clove-like spice in the finish. It's tasty but not complex and is rather dark fruit forward. It could almost pass as a pretty good CA Zinfandel.

  September 24, 2016 - Red cherry and raspberry fruit with earth and spice on the finish. Good acidity, long finish.

  July 7, 2014 - Popped and poured then consumed over 4 hours. Great mouth feel, interesting fruit with allspice evident, but I could never get passed the sweetness. Over time, the wine continued to develop body and palate impression, but the residual sugar kept raising its hand crying "look at me".
