May 20, 2017 - Yellow-gold color; apple skins, oily, showing some age, rich, oak showing but more nutty, oily, slightly broad and lower acid than the others. In great shape at this age. Didn't show as well as the GC burgs though.

July 30, 2016 - Dinner at Galletto's (Modesto): Drinking amazing right now! Had alongside the 08....the 02 has the weight and complexity of a top grand cru...making the lighter 08 seem more top premier cru. Brilliant shiny gold metallic...creamy and rich fruits, some tropical, buttered with honey and loaded with crushed minerals...lemon citrus and ginger dance on the palate....laser beam freshness, caramel corn, butterscotch, exotic wood spice and florals. In the perfect place right now....just awesome!

November 19, 2015 - California Cult Cabernet dinner (Oak Mill Cafe - Chicago IL): Both very ripe and very mature. Nice enough and drinkable, but short of energy and well past its peak. Well cellared by its owner since release.

June 20, 2014 - 2014 Athens Wine Event ( with a bit of Santorini); 6/19/2014-6/22/2014 (Athens & Santorini): Blind tasted. This wine showed two different sides over one hour that we monitored it. It started of, light, restrained, smoky edge on the nose, light fruit, light oaky feel. Post the 30 minute mark it developed more vavavoom, the oak started to show more along with its ripe fruit core. Very elegant, and beautiful wine and a true privilege to have come across it. 95 for now but has a lot of life ahead of it and will easily score higher for us.

November 17, 2013 - At close to 14 years of age, which is ancient for most California Chardonnay wines, this tasted years younger than its actual age. With vibrant citrus flavors, minerality, lemon peel and hints of vanilla, along with refreshing acidity, polish and length, it's a perfect ringer in a flight of white Burgundy.
