September 19, 2013 - PnP, great fill, color; cork soaked ,5cm. Shimmering gold, with aromas of freshly baked lemon bars, crunchy minerals, autolyse, and honeyed walnuts. Youthfully mature, medium-bodied palate, with fruit slightly more in abundance than acids. Really delicious right now, and I know the best days are behind already, but still, the tertiary development this has gone through is marvelous. What a fitting way to drink the last of these bottles, in good company and with the wine showing so very well. Served with homemade yellow curry, saffron rice and grilled shrimp, outstanding. 14,5% abv, drink thru 2015

March 26, 2013 - Cork in exc cond, soaked only 1/4 thru. Color too, is not advanced as might be expected, rather this showed a straw toward gold color. PnP reveals button mushrooms, subtle lychee, white floral, peach, ginger and thyme. Medium-full body, with obvious r/s (think Kabinett-), but acidity to match. Finish is somewhat shorter than I was expecting. I'll re-cork and finish it tomorrow night. 14,5% abv

January 21, 2013 - I opened this light/medium golden colored wine at a dinner party on Sat night, showed OK - excellent (potential) on the palate but didn't really engage me. All but 1 small glass sat in the fridge on Sunday and today (Monday) I decided to try it with a spinach ravioli dish with lots of red pepper flakes. Stunning, ethereal finish, acids and fruits that seem to have risen from the dead, mouth-coating, honey dripped orchard fruit laced with bright spice and minerals. Med/Med+ body, cork/fill near perfect. Better on the cooler side of the equation. 14,5% abv, drink thru 2015
