June 5, 2014 - Dark mahogany color with an alluring nose. Flavors of raspberry and cassis with some smoke. Very powerful and large wine with smooth tannins but a bit too much alcohol. Overall very enjoyable.

July 28, 2013 - I enjoyed this. Picked it up after deciding that the extremely expensive grass fed hamburger meat I bought deserved more than our standard Cotes du Rhone. Fragrant with herbs and flowers layered on the Grenache fruit, almost like it had a candy shell, but still fresh and balanced. This is the way I like Grenache in a hot year - more finesse than big and ripe.
