November 21, 2014 - Decanted for 2.5 hours. Not as good as other Hilltops. Cellared since its release, its probably reaching its plateau.

October 28, 2014 - Ruby color, garnet at the edge. Initially a sharp scent of wood tannin which faded, allowing aromas of dark berry, spice and crushed rock, all translating onto the palate. Moderately firm mouthfeel with a sweet attack that develops into a well balanced flavor profile of fruit and bramble with a pleasant underlying smoky minerality. Became more expressive over time and I suspect a long decant would yield lovely results.

September 30, 2013 - Fine juice but tight and needs either air time or bottle time. Opened up nicely towards the end, complex fruit with okay finish. Not sure I'd find another, though. Prefer more opulent fruit that can either coat the teeth or pull the sweaters off 'em
September 10, 2013 - Decanted for 1.5 hours and served with smoked pork spare ribs. Black cherry, raspberry, violets & touch of meat on nose. On palate, medium+ body, high acidity and black raspberry, black cherry. Very bright fruit profile and alchohol does not show up on nose or finish (I think its 15% alchohol). Long finish and great with foods. Tasting notes are from night 2. 93+ and would buy again.
