September 30, 2013 - Fine juice but tight and needs either air time or bottle time. Opened up nicely towards the end, complex fruit with okay finish. Not sure I'd find another, though. Prefer more opulent fruit that can either coat the teeth or pull the sweaters off 'em
September 10, 2013 - Decanted for 1.5 hours and served with smoked pork spare ribs. Black cherry, raspberry, violets & touch of meat on nose. On palate, medium+ body, high acidity and black raspberry, black cherry. Very bright fruit profile and alchohol does not show up on nose or finish (I think its 15% alchohol). Long finish and great with foods. Tasting notes are from night 2. 93+ and would buy again.

March 1, 2013 - rich dark purple in color, nose has dark fruits, plum, herbs including mild lavender. slight oak on the nose. the mouth matches the nose mild tannins, short to medium finish. This got better in the glass after an hour.

October 17, 2012 - A really quality Syrah showing serious blackberries and some earth on the nose. Black fruit really shines on the palate, medium to big bodied. Tannins and heat (especially at 15%) fairly well integrated. Okay on day two but some of the fruit noticeably faded. At $50 not amazing QPR but I'm glad I bought 3 bottles. I feel this is approachable now but if the tannins cool down a bit in the bottle, this could be a 93+.
