November 25, 2021 - Opened a magnum for Thanksgiving dinner. (Thanks Curt!) Plenty of structure up front. Nice dark fruit with a long finish. In the past, I have only aged these for 4-5 years max. So encouraging to know these are totally drinkable at year 12. I love this wine and this winery.

November 17, 2020 - The more I go back to this wine, I realize for me it’s one of the great qpr’s of all time. Juicy red fruit from the Grenache, spicy and savory notes from the Syrah, study backbone and inky color from the Mourvèdre and a beautiful floral and tangy lift at the end from Viognier. This wine is truly a sum of its parts. In perfect drinking condition with at least a couple of years left.

May 29, 2017 - Much better balanced than several years ago. Lots f Syrah funk, still plenty of dark fruit. Nice drink

March 18, 2016 - This has lost its baby fat and is really drinking well now. Burnished dark fruits, leather, and pepper with some gamey underbrush notes. Both the syrah and mourved show up well. Great bottle!
