  December 27, 2019 - Dirty magenta with ruby highlights. Some funk, earth, and crushed black cherries on the nose. Medium bodied, raspberries, pomegranates, baking spices, completely integrated tannins, a bit of smoke, and a nice, medium length red fruit finish. Much better on nights 2 and 3, so give it some time before you drink it.

  December 16, 2016 - Strawberries, forest floor on nose. Medium to full bodied, darker fruit flavors, integrated oak, medium acidity. Good finish of Pinot spice and fruit. First Roessler from 6-pack with a real cork--not a composite cork--and the best by a significant margin. Should continue to age in the style of a slightly riper and extracted Pinot.

  September 17, 2016 - Slightly brownish translucent red. Spice, raspberry and cola nose. Medium bodied, crushed sweetened cranberries, dark cherries, white pepper, tannins with a bit of astringency, good acid, chocolate, and long fruity finish. A very good pinot under $30, but would have been disappointing at the original $60 price.
