January 2, 2023 - This was the first Grand Cru Classe that I ever tried. Drank to celebrate my first child’s birth. I purchased another and it was nice to try 9 years later. At 24 years old, the wine is definitely in its mature phase, but lovely sweet fruit helps counter the tertiary notes of leather and cigar box. A lovely treat

August 2, 2020 - pnp, perfect cork and level - dense, dark ruby, lightening rim; cherries, some tobacco, earth and bramble, fresh but not complex; med/full, tails off and not particularly persistent or concentrated, quite attractive acid lift to essentially simple if attractive fruit, bit 4 square for better than VG (16), but no rush.
