  December 25, 2023 - Drank with prime rib on Xmas eve and this was really nice. Definitely has smoothed out a bit since last bottle a few years ago. Nice dark fruit, and just enough acidity to keep it from feeling heavy. Nice texture and mouthfeel. Smoothed out and improved with air for 1-2 hours. One left and should be good for a couple more years without a problem. The drinking window here on CT closes in 2023 but I think well stored bottles should be fine for a while. Pushing my end window back to 2025

Stored in a Vinotemp, horizontal, dark - the wine was still good but probably better a few years ago. Pleasing nose, but a bit flat on the palate. Not offensive but lacking depth and interest. Will be working on the other younger Cinq Cepages over the next few weeks.

  August 8, 2023 - Great nose. Still somevtannin and mid pallette not fully expressive. Maybe needed s longer decant. Still many good years ahead.

  December 24, 2022 - I thought this had lost a little, so interesting to see other recent reviewers say it’s got time left to hold. Still an enjoyable wine.
