November 18, 2023 - Winferno in Umeå (Stöcksjö, Umeå): No votes.

    Dark red.
    Pure, red-berry aromas.
Unoaked, clean, pure, polished taste of intense red berries. Beautiful, balanced and long, a tad faceless.

My guess: An unoaked modern Rioja from 2000-ish.

April 26, 2021 - Extremely attractive straight after opening and continued to evolve over next few hours. Possibly the most approachable I have known Columella and on this basis the remainder of the case will be great over next few years.

February 16, 2021 - Aerated for around 30mins in the bottle. Expressive nose of dark cherries, blackberries, cassis sweet spice and with further time in the glass you get bacon nuances. Fruity and fresh and relatively primary. Medium bodied with balancing acidity and medium+ tannins that need further time to soften. Good depth of flavour with vibrancy and freshness and good length. Needs time to soften the tannins and gain further in complexity as flavours are pretty much primary. 93+
