December 31, 2023 - Well aged, when drunk earlier had a bit more berry but 20 years later it's developed complexity with more plumb and slightly early tones. Very smooth though now 20 years later. Still a hint of the Berry on the pallet, a very nice wine indeed

May 11, 2014 - Excellent Barossa Shiraz. Enjoyed in a vertical tasting alongside 1996, 97, 98, 99 and '04 vintages. Oodles of dark and red fruit, syrupy mouth coating texture, plenty of peppery slice and a long finish.

October 1, 2011 - Oozed quality. Plummy, dark berried fruit, some chocolate, well framed by oak. Fine tannins, fresh mouthfeel. Just coming into its drinking window and will benefit from complexity of some more aged characters - built for the long haul.
