September 14, 2017 - Stood upright for a couple hours to allow sediment to settle. Decanted and then served immediately after to remove sediment, as I knew it wouldn't last long being shared between two. Enjoyed over the next hour and a half or so. Still plenty of acidity here. In the mouth tons of stewed cherries and plums and soft tannins, nose of more stewed fruit and as it developed a tinge of glasses. Drinking great now but still think this will be viable for quite some time as it held up in the decanter over and will most likely develop further.
