Community Tasting Notes 2

September 29, 2008 - Golden yellow. Muted nose of cut grass and lanolin/dettol cream. Lemon butter and vintage cheese palate, with a hint of lemon fruit tingle. Acid seems fresh and not cloying, but there doesn't appear to be much fruit left. Not sure whether I like this it, but it didn't seem particularly "off".

August 24, 2000 - NobleRottersSydney - South Aust trip (1) Barossa (Yalumba/Lehmann/Vintner's): (no oak) pale straw, very dry, grassy nose. A little glycerolly? Very young strawlike flavours (bland?) obviously need some age. Lacks searing acid of young Hunters.
