February 8, 2016 - Casual Burgundy Dinner with Friends from Burgundy (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): In 01/00/99/96 vertical, all open an hour before serving. At least one person considered each wine in the flight as their fav of the flight. Black and red berries here with moderate weight and everything well balanced and integrated right now. Probably best for the next 3-5 years.

September 5, 2014 - Quiet nose at first, but with 30 minutes of air this opened out beautifully. Raspberries, blackberries, slightly sauvage and slightly spicy. A persistent finish. Clear, linear, energetic but at the end of the day a bit lacking for the > $100 range. May have been better a few years ago; this is at end maturity or tiring.

December 19, 2013 - Dinner with Friends (NEXT Restaurant - Chicago IL): All black fruit aromas, very fresh, with lots of baking spice. Same fresh black cherry flavors, very young and pleasurable, even if not very nuanced or energetic.
