May 3, 2020 - Very deep red, almost opaque, with red brim. Nose is developed, with lots of dark fruit, oak character and notes of bramble, plums, violets and spices. Mouthfeel is full bodied, rich and generous, with smooth tannins, good acidity and notes of bramble, plums, spices, violets, white pepper and smoked meat. Very good syrah in a Côte-Rôtie style!
Drinks very well now and for at least a few years more. -

November 30, 2019 - Wow! Decanted 3 hours prior to dinner with a delicious roast beef and it was wonderful. The wine softened nicely and aroma of soft fruit was a treat with e very sip.

November 4, 2017 - Berry aromas dominate early after opening, but with time the aroma shifts more towards a fruit/pepper. Loads of blackberry flavors, plus pepper on the medium finish. Smooth and ready to drink.
