January 26, 2020 - Chinese New Year (Sun Wah): Clay and orchard fruit. A bit simple and slightly dirty. It's fine, though I'd much rather spring for the real deal.

February 3, 2018 - No formal notes taken. Nice and easy, crisp and clear. Nice QPR

March 25, 2017 - Enjoyable bubbly. The nose is reserved, but hints of the green apple and lemon rind that come in the mouth; both tart acids and a touch of sweetness. The finish lingers. This bottle to my taste in some ways that higher end is not (i.e., can be too yeasty for me; this is not).

July 20, 2016 - Vouvray (searching for value) (Dan's): I did not see the word Petillant on the label but it certainly was. Light golden in color. The nose has a fair amount of earthy stink on it. Also some tight minerality. On the palate, petillant in style (not a lot of bubbles). Seems slightly tired and lacking freshness. Not much fruit, a bit of minerality. Its good not great.
