Community Tasting Notes 3

December 6, 2015 - nose is quite oaky, serious herby black fruit, cassis, cherry skin; taste is silky smooth, enough fresh acidity to stop it from getting cloying, very polished tannins, nice clean fruit, oak a little bit less obvious, 14% alcohol doesn't spoil this party; ends on the (good) sweet oak though; excellent new world style german PN, perfect right now.

March 24, 2012 - Very good, popped and poured.

March 21, 2012 - Sweet oak flavours interwoven with spices, roses and vanilla. Good and interesting, but perhaps a bit too influenced by the oak treatment.
