December 12, 2012 - Deep gold (from age) in color. Very faint nose of musty flowers. Not much on the palate either, but some faint creamy orange blossoms through mid-palate and medium-short finish. Past it's rime (surprise, surprise), but still works as a food wine with the right dish -- something light but complex in flavor -- adding its own subtle flavors to the mix without getting overwhelmed. Otherwise, this is not a sipper. The adventurous should drink now. Everyone else, why did you wait this long?
