June 11, 2016 - Came around real nice. Could have aged even more, no sign of dried fruit, raisin, prune yet.

September 1, 2011 - Had been saving this up to see how it fared. This will not improve further. Flavors mellowed and smoothed out for a very palatable wine. Easy drinking with all the fruity blackberry overtones calmed down.

June 2, 2008 - This bottle was slightly more "leafy" or green on the nose and in the mouth than my last bottle, but still very nice and good value.

December 24, 2006 - Classic nose of blackcurrant, cedar, hints of tabacco and cocoa. Medium bodied and silky textured in the mouth, with similar flavours to the nose. Well balanced levels of medium acidity and tannins and a medium-long finish. Well rounded and balanced, and a joy to drink.

June 22, 2006 - Dark ruby color, vegetal and spicey nose with a touch of cherry, smooth spicey tannins, more currant than cherries, and a hint of vannila on the palate, short finish. After letting this bottle rest for a while it still seemed a little hot but tastey none-the-less. Drink it now or never.
