June 9, 2017 - Light red color. Cherries and red berries in the nose, hints of licorice. Quite pleasant now. Not sure if it has reached the top yet though. Few tertiary notes

February 22, 2014 - Light purple color; nose suggests dark sour cherry, floral, a little subdued; palate has more oomph with nice fat for a Villages Mercury, dark cherry, spice, light plum; overall the nose made it seem the wine was recoiling a bit but the palate had nice fullness; a satisfying wine.
