October 19, 2023 - This is a mind-blowing wine. The perfume of gorgeous toasted oak echos on the palate while sweet, velvety tannins dance with verve and complexity behind a finish that just goes on and on and on. (Purchased direct; aged in temp controlled storage; perfect cork).

October 9, 2019 - Powerful, "spicy", slightly tannic with high acidity. Nose of cassis, blackberry, cigar box, dried flowers. Fragrant, dark. On palate fairly focused but nice mouth feel and finish. Better on day 2 which suggests a well-made wine that could age well.
