Community Tasting Notes 5

November 14, 2015 - Light golden colored. Maturing petrol notes and possibly some botrytis honey on the nose, followed by a broad palate with tangy stone fruit qualities but unfocused acidity. Opened next to an '01, this showed much more advanced. Could be a storage issue: the' 02 was purchased on consignment in 2011, while the '01 was a late release from the producer.

February 6, 2015 - Light yellow color that doesn't show the age, orange fruit , ginger , mineral , on the palate the sweet is balanced with the medium acidity , drank very nice after dinner

June 15, 2014 - Green/yellow. Nose of petrol, citrus and mock orange flowers. Tasted medium sweet with a lick of acidity on the back palate. This tasted clean, quite light and refreshing. 8% alc. The age had provided some nuance to its mid palate and overall, a delight

February 23, 2014 - Ancora giovanissimo, già a partire dal colore. Eccellente bilancamento tra dolcezza e acidità.

February 8, 2012 - Interestingly, this did not show the strong petrol aromas that a recent '02 Kabinett did. Instead displays a full nose of yellow orchard fruits and flowers. A touch viscous and sweet on the palate, but fairly typical of lower level wines these days. Delicious, and still very young.
