November 19, 2013 - The wine looks Inky colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Blackberry, Black Pepper, with a hint of Vanilla. The body is Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Short. Pretty good QPR.

September 18, 2012 - Purchased six '08 and six '09 on a visit to winery. Nose red cherry and a little graphite. The palate is full of cherry, pepper, and fair acidity. It mellowed with air and developed chocolate notes. Good quaff with burgers. Will compare with the '09, rated 90 by spectator recently.
