July 14, 2016 - Medium yellow gold in color, with a thinning meniscus. A nose of Meyer lemon, green apple, honeysuckle and oyster shell. Medium bodied with very good intensity, deft handling of oak, the fruits carrying through to a saline- and crushed rock-laced finish. This was an excellent aperitif, though could have paired very well with grilled chicken. Oh well, our only bottle from our former Iron Horse Club membership.

June 1, 2013 - Lovely Chablis styled Cali chard. Honeysuckle nose, tight acidity you'd expect from a cali and a nice mid long finish. Nice minerality and oak. Very enjoyable, my favorite of the Iron Horse Chards.

March 2, 2013 - We like this one very much indeed! Floral nose; floral taste, citrus notes. Refreshing - but don't relegate it only to the summer!

July 27, 2012 - Chablis style chardonnay. Good greenish hue to the wine with notes of green apples, honeysuckle, and wet stone. On the palate green apples with a mineral mid palate taste and a good length to the finish. I like this wine a great deal and is a good example of a California Chablis reminds me a lot of a vintage Stony Hill.
