February 12, 2015 - Delicious blend from Ventoux (50% garnache 50% shiraz). Lively red fruit. Round, with some alcoholic hotness. Not too long, but certainly not short. Traces of black pepper and tar.

November 10, 2013 - A tincture that doesn't deliver. Thin but overloaded with tannins. Overly acidic.

November 18, 2012 - This 50/50 Grenache Syrah blend is clearly made for Mr. Parker. No subtlety here. (He gave this vintage a 90, but the following one got a 95). Nose was actually kinda tight, but the palate was like a locomotive. Smooth, very rich, lots of very ripe dark fruit, iron and dark chocolate. Powerful tannins. Well made to a style that isn't really mine. 89-91pts
