November 19, 2022 - Our final bottle, double decanted off its sediment about 90 minutes before service. Deep color- more youthful appearance than I'd have guessed. Blackberry, incense, white pepper and roasted game aromas. Full-bodied, with flavors of pepper, black fruit and dried blueberry. Long finish carries dark fruit and spice elements. A terrific showing from our final bottle. Well-stored examples such as this one have quite a few years to go.

February 22, 2014 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Rich & Dana's): Notes of eucalyptus, pepper, boysenberry and meat. The bouquet belies how light this is on the palate. Flavors of daark fruit and spice, but light-bodied. Finishes nicely.
