March 22, 2012 - Sonoma Wine Tasting & San Francisco - March 2012; 3/22/2012-3/27/2012: I liked this better than the 2009 Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara chardonnay. The nose shows bright apple and orange peel. It's very floral, and just downright attractive on the nose. The palate shows smooth fruit and a good dose of acid. Flavors of green apple and lime, also some white peach. It rides the line between zesty and rich, and does so very well.
