January 25, 2023 - Last bottle was Oct 2021 and this has improved a bit. Fully integrated with good balance and a long finish. This is in its prime and should drink well for at least another 3 years. Fun to follow this since 2017 but sadly this is my last bottle.

October 23, 2021 - Last tasted in Feb 2017 and stored perfectly since release, this needed about 90 min in the glass to open up. This is in its prime and is very well balanced with a nice finish that lasts 45 seconds. Unmistakably grand cru. These should be consumed within 3 years.

November 3, 2018 - Pretty reduced upon opening...showed great minerality behind it, but a tinge of sulfur didn't really blow off. Maybe will be better today, but definitelt needs time. Loads of popcorn, and tropical fruit, but the minerality keeps it from being out of control. More restrained on the palate for Corton-Charlemagne..good minerality, and elegant instead of hedonistically unctuous. Good fruit and excellent acidity...Would be better without the reduction...

February 21, 2017 - Needs a 90 min decant. Delicious but young. Good full body. Very long finish. Balance is on the way up but still not in its prime. Revisit 2019. Should reach prime in a few more years and hold for 10 years with ease.

September 1, 2014 - really liked this, was a bit surprised as i am not a big cotton charlemagne fan but this wine was high acid with great tension and felt like the palate profile was more Puligny Montrachet citrus than Corton Charlie smoke / caramel / richer / toasty
