  October 30, 2016 - Leaky cork with wine 2/3rds of the way up.
  Wine not oxidized by it was corked. Have another bottle and will open soon to see if this was just a bad bottle/cork?

  July 29, 2013 - What an improvement! Went from 83 to 88 in only 18 months. The cork was stained 80% though. So not the best seal (as it was stored impeccably). But the wine was still in tact. Perhaps the air through the cork helped this to mature faster. I could taste that good Caldwell fruit and all that Coombsville goodness lurking in the bottle this time. I have one left. Will give it some more time hoping the cork is tighter/in better shape and that it continues to improve. What a turn around. Praise Jesus (and Elizabeth and H and M!)

  February 16, 2012 - Disappointing. Makings for a big wine. But after a 2 hour decant, this was still nothing but tannins. NO FRUIT to balance out. A little better on day 2. So maybe this will improve with more time. Will wait a year or two before trying again.
