Community Tasting Notes 2

November 19, 2014 - This is really decent Chardonnay. It has a few years of bottle age, in a retailer sitting upright so the cork was a little dry. The maturity has helped integrate all the components into a ready now to drink Chardonnay. There is a lifted mouth feel, close to full bodied. Only a touch buttery at this point in it's life. The oak has matured and really helps round things out. There is still lively, but subtle, perfectly matured ginger cinnamon influenced pear, orange, melon peach and citrus fruit profile. A very appropriate amount of lactic acid on the roof of the mouth. Even a touch of sandalwood. A bit of honey on the finish, and even some slight tannins probably from oak.

July 27, 2014 - Perfume of white flowers, accompanied by green apple and pear aromas cutting the rich buttery notes. Fat tounge, very rich with plenty of buttery essence; wonderful green apple acidity mellowing out the richness at the finish
