November 5, 2018 - Drank over two days. Rich, robust Oakville Cab made in a classic style with sweet tannins and plenty of delicious fruit filling the palate. Long finish. Showing well now.

December 15, 2013 - Another fine effort from Venge. Beautifully made wine with a wonderful nose of cherries. Still young. I decanted for about 1 hour and that was not enough. Very enjoyable with a Standing Rib Roast.

May 9, 2013 - Nice soury cherry, mint and dust on the nose. Also, aromas of blackberry, cocoa powder, black currant, wet stone and iron minerality. Bold flavor on the palate. Rich and powerful but in balance. Oak, black currant, blackberry and black cherry flavors. Also hints of maduro tobacco and black plum. Voluptuous style with great structure and unravels complex layers. It's brooding and dark but has great acidity to counter the dark fruit components. Hint of tar and incense also. Nice wine!
