November 23, 2017 - Berries and leather. Very nice. Astringency and good body.

July 2, 2017 - Drank with fscov (his bottle). I didn't have much hope this would be worthy of the hefty price tag it carries (since I've had it in the past and was not impressed), and my expectations were unfortunately met. Upon drinking after a 2hr+ decant, it had a really funky nose - it seemed like aged smoked meat, but it dissipated with time.

Anyway, even with some air this wine is not expressive neither on the nose nor in the mouth. Of course it is not a bad wine by any means - it is quite long and the tannins are velvety at this stage, being very food-friendly. But it lacks complexity and enough stuffing to deserve a better grade. Maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of this varietal. 91pts at best, and a horrible QPR.

November 29, 2015 - Lovely wine. Balanced fruit, very drinkable. Excellent structure for a long maturation. Coffee, berries, leather? Ruddy color.

October 31, 2015 - Tasted this during Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate's Matter of Taste @ The Grand Hyatt, Singapore.

Dark purple in colour with notes of plum, earth, mint and cigar.

A gentle, feminine wine which caresses the palate and the soul. A smooth and soothing drink that is highly attractive and appealing.
