September 4, 2023 - A beautifully mature cabernet. PnP. Slightly shy aroma with black fruit, herbal, earth, leather, cassis flavors. Still has plenty of fruit and not drying out. black fruit, cassis, earth, slight herbal. Medium body, well balanced with good acidity. Smooth , silky tannins in the finish.

February 20, 2023 - Another beautifully mature cabernet. PnP. Didn't need a decant. Starts with black fruit, herbal, earth, leather, cassis flavors. Still has plenty of fruit and not drying out. black fruit, cassis, earth, slight herbal. Medium body, not jammy. well balanced with good acidity. Smooth , silky tannins in the finish.

September 5, 2013 - Solid if unexciting Cali Cab, with chocolate, coffee and blackberry on the nose, but not great depth of palate or finish. It had probably aged past its prime. Still, a nice accompaniment to sauteed chicken with port sauce and figs.

March 8, 2013 - Dark purple core with minimal color variation. The nose is expressive with an expansive leafiness, black fruits, and a component of earth. The palate is ripe but not jammy, nor big. The fruit is sweet and soft, well balanced by an acid lift that keeps the fruit from cloying. The mouthfeel is smooth and lithe but has power like a tensed muscle. The moderately lengthy finish is earthy and a little woody, with a nice snap of tannin. Good wine, nice rec from Phil at Bassin's.
