October 5, 2021 - Library release purchase. Overall, quite a lot of stemmy green on nose and palate, some might consider it aggressively so. Elegant in profile, with moderate acid, rich red fruit (for Oregon) without a hint of sweetness, a bit of clove spice, and a clean finish. Very glad that Patty Green made these available!

March 23, 2019 - This is one of those memorable wines that forces you to think. It’s layered, delicious and leaves you contemplating what exactly it is that you’re tasting. The nose is delicate yet complex with camp fire smoke, cranberry, and dried flowers. The palette is reminiscent of a cranberry cocktail, but not overly sweet, it strikes the perfect balance between sweet and tart with an earthy smokiness that follows. There’s a long finish with green “stemmy”, for lack of a better term, flavor that hangs around for what seems like forever. Patty Green wines have such a distinctive flavor profile but I find it hard to pin down what it is or to put it into words.

July 15, 2016 - Best after an hour or so. Consider decanting for best results.

    June 25, 2016 - 55F. decanted (minimal sediment)
    medium red with some brick
nose muted for Pinot noir with some cherry, plum, pepper.
Good acid, weak mid platel and ok finish
On palate cherry, earth, green with definate bitterness/stems
came together with improvement after 1 or 2 hour decant, more integrated mid-palate
