July 5, 2020 - Deep golden color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. This has a fun nose, very rich and full with butter brushed pie crust, lemon oil, dried apricot, honey, grilled pear, lemon zest and dried wood. The palate is somewhat honeyed also, but very oily textured, lemon oil, apricot, butter cream, dry stones, and a deep lingering finish. This has a full bodied, oily texture that is rich and energetic, good acid to carry the fruit and texture. These have a lot of complexity and depth that comes with age. Last bottle, and best bottle. I will seek this out in the future too. 91+ to 92pts.

December 24, 2019 - Christmas Eve with Family (St. Paul, MN): Medium dark golden color. Drank a glass over 90 minutes. This round and showing some age and maturity, but still in good shape and fairly consistent with a bottle 2 years ago. Lemon, tangerine, hints of vanilla; lemon oil textue with a little orange, spices, quite dry, limestone and just a little oxidative character.

September 6, 2017 - Light gold color. Drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. Aromatic lemon nose with spiced pear, high toned, subtle fennel seed. The palate is really quite lovely, dominant lemon, tangerine, very tangy, mineral, medium body, pear, and a kiss of wood spice.

July 5, 2015 - Still youthful and I'd lean towards another couple of years improvement yet.

June 1, 2012 - Dinner at Cafe de HK (Cafe de HK, Balestier Road): This was a very good Mâcon indeed. It had a very expressive nose, full of flowers and tropical fruit, beeswax and honey, and some almond aromas floating around there somewhere. Very attractive. The palate carried the same dulcet tones, with a sweet, honeyed glow to its tropical fruit - think pineapples and melon with sweet melons in the background. This had all the typical warm, friendly fruit of the Mâconnais, and yet it was very nicely balanced by some lovely juicy acidity. It was an extremely enjoyable from attack to finish, where it tailed away with a touch of kumquat and a little kiss of chalky mineral and spice. Delicious. It should keep improving over the next few years, adding some of the complexity that seems to be missing in its youth - but, really, why wait when it is so extremely yummy even now.
