June 20, 2021 - My one and only bottle and I rather enjoy it. Deep brick color. Nose that combines wonderful ripe Pinot fruit, oak and smoke. While rich it does not feel at all over done. Medium bodied with a good finish. Not a wow wine but very sound. Delicious with steaks on the BBQ. (91)

December 31, 2006 - Medium garnet. Leather, beet root, iron, raspberry jam and a hint of rubber in the nose. Soft and elegant on the palate with subltle red fruit and mineral flavors that are still very fresh, pure and lively. Soft tannins and a long fruit filled finish. Very charming Charmes. This bottle was showing much better than the last one and shiould be nice in another few years.

February 20, 2006 - Medium red. Wood smoke, iron, violets and hard spices on the nose with a slight stemmy quality. Medium bodied, soft and sweet with slightly cooked dark fruit flavors. The acidity in this bottle seems to be cracking up a bit and the finish is a touch dry and a bit too smokey. An off bottle?? Good but certainly not Grand Cru
