  October 31, 2021 - Slow oxed for 2 hours then decanted for an hour. Aromas of mint, blackberry, currant, iron and black tea. Flavors of iron, blackberry, currant, plum and hint of cherry. Ends with a 20+ second finish with iron and blackberry notes. Should have read my note from last year because this might have been even better in 2-3 years. Very young still. Best showing yet for this.

  May 25, 2020 - Slow oxed for 2.5 hours. Aromas of dried cherry, leather, touch of plum and iron. Flavors of iron, cherry, currant and mineral. Ends with a 15 second finish with iron and roasted herb notes. This is tasting pretty young still. Bit surprised based in n the other notes but I have a cold cellar with great storage.

  December 30, 2017 - Lacks acidity and bite. Plummy and a little flat.

  July 15, 2017 - From a 375ml bottle. This has matured quite a bit since I last tried the 2010 in 2013. Balanced wine. I found it elegant and earthy with notes of dark fruit. Beautiful color and lovely nose. Delighted I have another one of these. We will be enjoying these 2010s for many years to come.
