March 19, 2022 - Similar to prior note after decanting at the restaurant, but likely would have benefitted from a longer decant as it continued to improve throughout the meal; outstanding, drink or hold

June 12, 2021 - Double decanted for 2 hrs, deep ruby blueberries on the nose, dark fruit, med. tannins, long finish; outstanding, drink or hold

May 17, 2020 - Still quite lovely with big ripe dark black fruits and petty black charred spices. Yum.

November 19, 2019 - Didn't take detailed note as I brought to a restaurant. Stellar wine and could have shined more if we decanted longer.

March 19, 2017 - Color: dense purple core -> dark ruby rim. Primary bouquet of plums, raspberry, boysenberry and spicecake. Dark fruited palate showing crushed rock and a touch of tobacco. Light tannins, tremendously balanced and a long finish complete a pretty picture, but this is still far too young to my taste. Considerable upside given time . . . 93+ at a minimum.
