December 31, 2010 - Mature but lively colour; explosive nose, delicious ripe fruit, slate, warmth from perfectly judged oak; smooth and juicy, well-rounded, lowish acidity but the tannins are ripe; good length. An elegant and refined Ahr-wine, spicy, lovely interplay between cool and sweet, delicious now. Still going strong the next day.
