April 17, 2024 - Auction bottle, nose of black currants, black berry, forest floor, and cedar, same on the palate, big body, rich and mouth filling fruit, elegant tasting, at peak, toward the downhill side, still very tasty, and a long, long finish and lovely aftertaste.

October 28, 2017 - Nose of black currants, forest floor, cedar, and hint of iron, same on the palate, big body, rich and mouth filling fruit, lots of concentration, elegant tasting, very tasty, time to enjoy but will easily last another 10 years, and a long, long finish.

October 7, 2017 - The cork was very crumbly, but did its job. It took four corkscrews and a pair of pliers, but it finally emerged. ��
Heavy oak and cedar notes on the nose, along with some dark fruit. Bold palate, with big fruit and lots of cedar. This screams nicely aged Cali Cab.
If not for the suspect cork, I'd say this could last another decade. Worth holding if you're willing to gamble on this. -

May 6, 2017 - Note taken after 3+ hours in the decanter. This is a beautiful Napa wine, with a nose of cedar and jammy fruit. Nice tannins on the palate, with a great fruit and oak balance. A beautiful wine if you enjoy fruit-forward Napa Cabs. Will keep for a few years yet.

February 20, 2017 - Nose of black cherry, black currants, and earth, same on the palate, big body, rich fruit, mouth filling, at its peak, time to enjoy it if you own it, very tasty, almost elegant, and a long, flavorful finish.
