December 25, 2021 - After more This powerhouse lost none of it's potency and youth, and gained elegance and elegance and subtlety. Cherry, tobacco, Medium(+) alcohol, firm medium(+) supple tannin. Great length leading to dry, bittersweet finish. Only few bottles left.
    Brunelllo at its finest.

October 10, 2020 - Older classic Brunello with leather, cherry and earth

March 26, 2020 - Overall a nicely developed wine and it needs about 1 hour of air to really open up and let the acidity come forward.
It is in a nice place where there is some fresh fruit but also some developed notes.
Lots of things to like but the tannins are a bit harsh and rough and eventually I think they will overpower the wine as it develops further.
I would highly recommend that this is consumed now or within 1-2 years as it doesn't seem to have the longevity.
But still, it is a lovely wine right now just out of balance with the tannins.

May 21, 2019 - A lot funk and fairly closed up. Decanted and covered. Was much better the next evening.

August 6, 2017 - Great with pasta and steak. Dark dry fruit with cherry, earth and nice balance
