December 18, 2020 - Fashinating "Garage-producer" who rarely sells his wines but what wines when they open up...oppulent, harmony and balance.

November 18, 2017 - Hmmm, extremely interesting....big, rich, weighty, and a very full bodied 100% Pinot Meunier Champagne. Expressive and somewhat unusual. Deep golden color and frothy. This was purchased in 2013 from Garagiste and has been in the cellar since. Displays a very unique and complex set of aromatics and flavor profile: ripe, baked, golden apple; spicy ginger, chalky, dry minerals; very yeasty bread dough: fresh, unsalted nuts: musty, raw honey; fresh yellow flowers; and overripe, juicy yellow pears. Just gets better and better, shows layers upon layers throughout the experience. Creamy texture, yet supported with an acidic foundation. Long, long persistent finish. Not the kind of Champagne you’ll find at the local retail store!

December 7, 2016 - Ripe and bready. Enjoyable.

April 23, 2015 - Putting on a little palateweight as it ages, still showing the classic 2007 vintage's acidity. Doesn't have the depth of a great champagne bottling, but it certainly beats the Grand Marque's regular vintage bottlings.
Works very well with slightly greasy food: the weight of the Pinot means it doesn't get knocked over and the acidity keeps the palate fresh

Interestingly very mature, round and ripe, full and toasty. Albeit a very nice wine it also felt a bit generic and lacked the vibrancy and special factor of younger wines from Prevost. Yeasty with good fruit across. Maybe we left it a bit too late or maybe not as a good kept bottle. 91
