June 15, 2016 - Couldn't get past the (well-integrated) oak to the Pinot Noir

November 3, 2015 - Sometimes I'm amazed at the difference between bottles. Previous bottle was showing lots of age notes. This one is still fresh. Nose has pretty cherry and sweet baking spices. Color is bright red and somewhat translucent with just the slightest brick notes on the edges. Palate is balanced and beautiful with enough acidity to match up with flavorful savory dishes. Plum, cherry, a bit of Apple, and ginger spice cake dominate the flavor profile. Medium finish. Delicious wine.

September 30, 2015 - Give this wine time to breathe. Nose is earthy and spicy with leather to boot. Palate is bright, bringing red fruit and nutmeg. Finish is long.

December 25, 2014 - A little light at this stage. Good finesse, pleasant wine.

June 18, 2014 - Strong nose of dusty earth, spices and pepper mixing with ripe red berry and strawberry. After 1 hour, more fresh licorice, herbal and cedar wood aroma came out. The palate was a bit simple with one dimensional red berry taste and some pepper spiciness. The structure was quite solid with good alcoholic backbone, in new world style. The finish was still young, filling with slightly dry and bitter tannin. Overall was not bad. Far from the elegance and beauty of Burgundy. It's truly new world pinot noir.
