April 12, 2020 - Vincent Arroyo's Rattlesnake Acres has always been our favorite of his Petite Sirahs, which is his signature varietal, and this 2010 is no exception. This wine is a mouth coating, delicious powerhouse. It's dark brambly blackberry and raisiny fruit is layered with freshly shaven cedar and black pepper. The finish is wonderously lengthy. We needed a big juicy wine to hold up to Bob's chili and this came ready to dance.
While this was our last bottle of the 2010, it clearly had many great years of drinking ahead of it. -
