October 8, 2023 - This wine had a light yellow center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose showed lemons, white stone, acacia flowers, and apples.

In the mouth, this was still a bit tight but it opened to some degree with time. It was very attractively balanced and was not heavy in the least. It seemed to be developing lovely complexity.

Amazingly, this bottle was still way to young and needs 10 years or so to come into its full majesty. I would say it has 2 points, or so, of upside. If you can find a bottle that is not poxed, it will be great!

April 15, 2023 - honeyed nose. in the mouth butterscotch, burnt sugar, a tad oxidative, and very long. this wine has huge heft.

October 5, 2022 - Tight, nutty, herbal nose. Telltale spearmint absent at first, emerged after half an hour or so.
    Creamy but acidic, very fresh.
Intense and very long on the finish.
Amazing freshness for the vintage: everyone thought it was the 07 (served blind alongside)! A bottle in extraordinary condition.

June 12, 2020 - Quite Jura-like. Did have the signature spearmint.

January 5, 2020 - Beautiful nose that immediately has the signature Ramonet spearmint and wonderful vanilla spices. A rich and opulent classic Bâtard with loads of yellow fruit power, concentration, and intensity, but not heavy or thick. Palate delivers super clean bright yellow fruit and a ton of tingling spice. An excellent example and a highly expressive and powerful showing, which was lucky given that the ’99 Chevalier was toast and the ’02 Bienvenues was a little tired. 93 - 94.
