November 12, 2015 - The best of the last 6 cabs over the past week.

While the color has aged - garnet with copper, the body and tannins are mature and integrated. Tannins still nice at 7/10 and a lengthy finish. Meaty and toasted tannins in the nose - nice and enticing.Hints of chalk too.

November 11, 2015 - Beautiful garnet with brown edges. Nose has petrol, cassis and green peppers. Palate started with cassis and got slightly more acidic. Moderate tannins, 6/10, moderate body. Well integrated. Moderate finish but drink now, wears off as it breathes.

September 12, 2015 - Cork crumbled but had done its job as the wine was perfect. Nose was full of cherries, color was brick red, on the palette it was a wonderful balance of fruit with a nice silky long finish. Only have two more of these...nust find more.

January 19, 2014 - Simply superb - this is still full of life - opened up some 3 hours after opening and while initially fruit restrained began to come through - might have been a little cool to start as well. Some cassis notes - and with a bit of pheasant a great accompaniment

January 2, 2012 - Really drinking beautifully - what was a difficult vintage for many has been well managed and vilified into a truly lovely vinous experience. Initial notes are intense fruit but mellows giving cassis and smoky flavours with really good length
