October 7, 2013 - Dark plum. Nose: raspberries, smoke. Taste: raspberries, crisp, leather, smoke, light tannins. Finish: long, astringent, burnt raspberry. Overall: tasty, moderately complex, balanced.

April 24, 2013 - I like it for the price and the difference from the typical New World Granache that I frequently enjoy.

Early in the bottle the wine was concentrated and reminded me of a New World Rhone, which was right up my alley.
As the wine opened up it softened, with less concentrated flavors.

This is a good sampling of a low-cost Grenache with a bit of New World and Old World flare. Worth a try, but most likely a mid-week, table, or party wine (where by party wine I mean a good choice for a large gathering where all should enjoy and non should be offended)

December 18, 2012 - Dark brooding fruit on the nose. Licorice, candied plum, and prune with a core of beautiful minerality.

November 20, 2012 - black raspberry, black cherry, and chalk. Very nice. Great with Bean-Pebbled Paella.

May 23, 2012 - Super black raspberry finish with a pop of acidity.
