February 4, 2024 - Vinetasters: (mostly) 2010 Burgundy (Park Ridge, IL): Served double blind. Funky and earthy, and kind of thinning out. Oddly dirty in the context of most other wines tonight, and I thought this might have been some sort of ringer. More structure and potentially more age? Confected, sweet fruit on the nose, with a strawberry jam note. My 10th, group's 11th.

November 10, 2023 - Completely in line with BOXERBEE‘s description, I would only assume some further development and an even longer life, 93+.

September 29, 2023 - Forest floor, cherry, strawberry, rosa canina, cinnamon, and barnyard. Elegantly structured, with mouthwatering acidity and finegrained tannins that are still not completely dissolved. Creamy texture after aeration. Reaching its peak now, I guess, and will remain at this level for 5 more years and drink well for 10 more years.

January 13, 2021 - Similar to my last note, but more closed and less layered. This bottle was a bit cooler than the last, which might fully or partially explain this, so I’ll reserve judgement on the bottle variation question until next time.
